NFC Super Bowl Odds

NFC Super Bowl Odds

It’s January, and that means we’re one month away from the Super Bowl! First, there are eight teams that have to battle it out in the playoffs to earn a shot to play in the Winter Classic. Here’s how the NFL odds line up for the best teams in the NFC conference.

Green Bay Packers – (+200)

The Green Bay Packers currently have the best odds to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl this season, as Aaron Rodgers hopes to earn his second ring. Rodgers is putting up yet another great season at the age of 38, as he’s thrown nearly 4,000 yards to go along with 35 touchdowns while throwing just four interceptions. Many people believe that he’s in prime position to earn his fourth MVP award.

Davante Adams also continues to prove that he’s one of the best wide receivers in the league, as he has 1,498 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns. Aaron Jones has carried his weight this season as the lead running back, rushing for 799 yards and four touchdowns on 171 carries. Jones also has 391 receiving yards and six receiving touchdowns.

The defence tends to give up a lot of yards to their opponents, whether it be on running or receiving plays, but as long as they can put points up on the board, they should be able to overcome those defensive woes and at least get to the NFC Championship Game.

Los Angeles Rams – (+400)

  • Matthew Stafford has absolutely strived in his first year as the Los Angeles Rams’ starting quarterback, as he’s thrown over 4,600 yards to go along with 38 touchdowns.
  • Cooper Kupp is emerging as arguably the league’s best wide receiver, as he has 1,829 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns.
  • Odell Beckham Jr. has found new life in Hollywood., as he has five touchdowns in seven games with his new club.
  • Sony Michel has thrived in his first year in L.A., carrying the ball for 802 yards and taking it in for four touchdowns.
  • The Rams’ defense is not as good as it was supposed to be, but Aaron Donald and Von Miller are still threats to rush the QB and Jalen Ramsey is still a threat to shutdown your favorite WR.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers – (+450)

If there’s one thing football fans have been taught to do, it’s to never count out Tom Brady, as he’ll be going for his eighth Super Bowl ring. A huge reason why the Tampa Bay Buccaneers won it all last season was because of their pass defence, as they were able to do the impossible and take Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs out of their game plan. They still have one of the strongest pass defences in the league, arguably the strongest.

The Antonio Brown saga is a hanging cloud over the organization, but Brady has been around long enough to put away distractions like that with ease. Chris Godwin has also been lost for the season, but the Bucs still have Mike Evans and Rob Gronkowski in the fold.

Leonard Fournette is also enjoying a bounce back season, as he has 812 rushing yards and eight touchdowns. Fournette also has 454 receiving yards, which will be huge with two key receivers out of the picture.

Dallas Cowboys – (+550)

Dak Prescott is enjoying a great season for the Dallas Cowboys, as he’s thrown 4,154 yards and 32 touchdowns. CeeDee Lamb has emerged as a bonafide WR in the league, as he has 1,057 receiving yards and six touchdowns.  Amari Cooper has 786 receiving yards and eight touchdowns.

Dalton Schultz is also giving the Cowboys a boost at the tight end positions, hauling in 787 receiving yards and six touchdowns. Ezekiel Elliot has been effective as a rusher and receiver, as he has 915 rushing yards to go along with 10 rushing touchdowns and 284 receiving yards and two receiving TDs.

Tony Pollard has also thrived as the backup to Elliot, as he has 719 rushing yards in nearly 90 less attempts and 332 receiving yards. With four legitimate difference makers on the Cowboys’ defence in Trevon Diggs, DeMarcus Lawrence, Micah Parsons and Randy Gregory, this team has a chance to defy all odds and get to the Super Bowl.
